IBERIA
The Iberian peninsula is one of the richest places in Europe in terms of wildlife. Spain and Portugal have always believed in the importance of preserving their natural history heritage and this contributed to make this area a real birders’ and photographers’ paradise.
The typical Iberian dehesa, where Evergreen, Pyrenean and Cork oaks reign, hosts SKUA reserves, located close to Spain/Portugal border.
Hundreds of Griffon and Cinereous Vultures are photographers daily companions here, together with Ravens and Black and Red Kites, inflight, perched, fighting or feeding at close distance.
